As Sisters, we feel that the gift of music is an enchanting and awe inspiring expression of a unique aspect of God's character.
It is a gift placed within each of us. Throughout our performances we want our audience to both enjoy themselves and realize that musical enjoyment itself is an experience that reflects the beauty and wonder of the God of all creation. A Maidens Stage Performance:
"The band Maidens IV is a Celtic band "composed of 4 young women with a passion for music and service to God. They are sisters who grew up together in a family of 11, in Hayesville, Ohio. The members are: Heather, Havilah, Abigail, and Tabitha Justice. Heather is spokesperson for the band. She directs the band when they are performing. She explains the meanings and the stories that lay at the foundation of the songs. When Heather opens her mouth to lead the band in song, your attention will be drawn to her unmistakably talented voice. She has a pure and high voice that emanates from her with an air of effortlessness. Havilah is quieter than her sisters in speech, but makes herself known through her playing style. She is the foundation of the music in the band with her strong and sure hand on the violin. Her strokes on the violin are very strong and powerful. She has such a confidence that if she happened to play a wrong note, she would play it with as much oomph as she does all the other notes, without ever missing a beat. Abigail is a real people person. She loves to talk to those in the crowd before performance, during intermission, and after the performance. For Abigail anytime is good for personal interaction and conversation. Abigail plays her Viola with very nimble fingers, pressing down on the strings and then whisking away onto the next note. She is very focused while performing and aware of her sisters' subtle direction. She concentrates on pleasing her sisters through her performance. Tabitha has an inviting quiet personality. She seems to be always thinking. She appears to be thinking in such an intriguing way that you want to know what she's thinking about. Evan when playing guitar she has that open eyed thoughtfulness. Tabitha is the only guitar player of the band. Her playing is very steady and consistent, and she makes playing the guitar look entirely too easy. She is a wonderful addition to the band. If you get a chance to go see this band by all means do so, and you will not be disappointed. The Maidens IV is chock-full of talent and personality. Music has always been more than just sound, and this band is an outpouring of that fact!"
