A Little bit of History.....
The choirs were started in 2003 under the direction of Heather Justice, and are a natural extension of her love of the human voice and vocal performance.
Heather enjoys working with the
choirs as well as creating special ensemble
numbers, duets and trios.
She hopes to instill an appreciation for
music among her students who range from age six
to young adult (and a few moms).
She also enjoys arranging and writing for her choirs
and for each concert, the
choirs perform several of her works.
King’s Choristers I consists of all treble voices with its emphasis on the young singer. King’s Choristers I works towards creating consistent tonality, singing in unison, rounds, and 2 parts with some choreography.

King's Choristers II
King’s Choristers II is directed towards the singer with more musical background. This choir works with changed male voices along with 2-3 part women’s voices. King’s Choristers II focuses on more challenging repertoire consisting of 3-4 part harmony and intricate rounds with some choreography. Also, for each concert different students from King's Choristers II will be chosen for solos, duets, trio's, ensembles, an all guy’s song and a girl’s song.
Along with great Repertoire, both Choirs work on:

King's Choristers Girls ensemble - Issay, Issay, (Christ is Born) 2005 The art and beauty of song is an enjoyable and valued skill for people of all ages and musical ability. The ability to sing in coordinated unity with others creates an additional dimension to the wonder of God’s creation of song. Although achieving vocal beauty takes sustained effort, it is a skill that both singers and their audience find very rewarding.
Currently Heather is not holding King's Choristers. She does teach private Voice lessons. If you are interested in vocal coaching please contact her: heather@maidensmusic.com Copyright © 2007 Maidens IV All rights reserved |
